Where to Donate your decluttered items in lubbock, texas (updated summer 2025!)
If you have been around here for very long, you know - WE LOVE TO DECLUTTER (or purge, edit, reduce, whatever you want to call it). Its a part of our name, a process we take every client through (whether they want it or not), and something we truly believe is necessary when trying to create and cultivate an organized home. But decluttering is only half of the equation..
What happens to all those things that are still in good condition, but you dont want them anymore. Or things you tried out that you’ve decided are your favs. Or those clothes that are perfectly fine, but dont fit anymore…? What happens then?
Throwing it back to our 2023 Holiday Donation Drive!
We were able to collect donations from over 40 families that completely filled our 1,500 square foot warehouse!
Items were sorted, and delivered to 9 of our non-profit members here in the Lubbock area. THOUSANDS of local people in need were able to benefit from this, and we absolutely could not have done it without our clients and supporters!
Well, while we can attest to LOVING to declutter, we also LOVE to bless our local community with donations that we help out clients declutter from their lives. Our rule of thumb when working with clients is, if it can be donated (and in good enough condition to be donated), DONATE IT!
We put together our list of our nonprofit partners we work with when it comes to donations and are sharing it with YOU, in case you are ready to begin the process of organizing your home! Now, if you are someone who enjoys little errands like dropping off donations, feel free to use this list to get your items where they can be of the most impact! If you are someone like I mentioned above that is always riding around with donations in the car for months at a time (no shame, that was 100% me before I was an organizer), you can always reach out the Minimize then Organize team and we can come pick up donations from you and get them to our non profits FREE OF CHARGE! This is for residents of Lubbock, Texas and the surrounding areas (New Deal, Idalou, Abernathy, Post, Slaton, New Home, Wilson, Wolfforth, Ropesville, Levelland, & Shallowater).
If you want your donations picked up, just fill out this form and the team will be in touch!
Otherwise, please use this list as a reference guide! We enjoy getting to support our partners and they would be forever grateful for your donations!
